Head of Marketing opportunity with an exciting, high-growth FinTech in the business lending space.

Our client is enjoying a significant growth period and is looking for and are looking for a player-manager Head of Marketing with a strong track record of delivering on customer acquisition and revenue growth targets via digital marketing channels.

Ideally, you will be coming from a SAAS or FinTech industry background, but definitely from within the startup scene and will understand first-hand the importance of being a hands-on leader.

This role would suit an analytical and perceptive marketer who is a skilled communicator and is used to collaborating with various teams. There is a clear career path to a more senior role.

About the role:

  • Excellent knowledge of SEO practices and techniques 
  • Develop plans to help establish our client’s brand, allocating resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term team goals
  • Responsible two direct reports
  • Set, monitor, and report on team and individual goals
  • Work closely with senior leadership team to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present results
  • Plan, develop, implement, and execute on the digital marketing strategy
  • Work with digital agency to deliver updates to existing website 
  • Personally develop and manage digital prospecting and remarketing campaigns via paid, organic & own media channels
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing to support both direct and partner growth
  • Track and measure Google Analytics metrics and provide reports
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the Marketing team

About you:

  • Recent experience with a tech startup or scale-up (FinTech or SaaS experience is essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (Head of or performance marketing) 
  • Have built effective multi-channel marketing strategies, including PPC, SEO, social media and other digital channels. 
  • Solid expertise in campaign and channel analysis and reporting, including Google Analytics experience as well as marketing automation software 
  • Highly focused, goal-oriented individual with excellent communication skills
  • Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced culture

On offer:

  • Competitive salary of £80k - £90k
  • Hybrid role spending 2 to 3 days a week in their London offices
