Our client has developed multiple on-demand video learning platforms that assist businesses in their learning and development opportunities for employees across a variety of sectors. They’re a company focused on having a positive social impact and provide their platforms for free to a selection of university students alongside their B2B projects. They’re seeking a Sales Lead to focus on commercialising one of their new education platforms, ensuring the product is highly scalable and having a strong input into the sales strategy.
This role would be well suited to someone with a proven track record in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, start-up/scale-up experience, and a good understanding of financial services.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through a variety of mediums such as inbounds, marketing leads, existing networks, and outbound efforts
- Impact the direct sales strategy but assisting define addressable market, identifying target clients, and understanding buyer habits
- Generate calls and meetings to pitch and demo products to new clients
- Close annual recurring contracts
- Build long-standing relationships with key clients pre and post-sale to ensure long term retention and increase upsell
- Contribute to ongoing mentorship and development of the team
- Effectively utilise all functions of the CRM (copper) to track leads and deal flow
- Develop a deep understanding of the product and the market
- Report into the Director of Sales of Marketing
- Several years’ experience selling B2B SaaS products at an enterprise level
- Consistent record of exceeding personal annual sales targets
- Previous sales methodology experience (eg MEDDIC)
- Proven experience closing complex deals with large organisations, while running multiple sales processes simultaneously
- Experience working in EdTech, FinTech or selling to financial services companies highly preferable
- Start-up/scale-up beneficial
- £60k-£80k base w/ uncapped commission
