Sales Director

Sales Director opportunity working for an award-winning HealthTech scale-up supporting the NHS. This is a largely remote role with a couple of days a month required in the London office.  

Our client is on a mission to increase efficiencies for the NHS and improve the lives of those for who in the NHS. They have developed a range of SaaS products that help managers reduce their administrative burden as well as ensuring workforce planning is optimised. They are a true Tech For Good organisation making a difference in the HealthTech space.  

They are now looking for a Sales Director to lead and grow their fast-paced sales team, instilling and maintaining best practice and scaling the team at speed.   

Main Responsibilities  
  • Lead and grow the sales team of SDRs, Account Executives and Pre-Sales executives 
  • Develop and implement sales strategy, leading an account-based and territory-based sales team 
  • Formulate and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans, with a view to expand the company's reach across new accounts 
  • Support the team in deal design and execution, satisfying customer objectives and delivering maximum value for customers 
  • Coach, mentor and motivate the team, ensuring high levels of engagement and continuous improvement 
  • Build a culture of accountability, best practice and reflection 
  • Conduct weekly forecast review and quarterly progress review sessions with team members 
  • Report to the VP of Sales/CRO 
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Customer Success and Product Marketing to ensure best sales practice across the organisation 
Skills & Experience 
  • Several years’ experience in a Sales Leadership role within the SaaS space 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills 
  • Experience selling to healthcare and the NHS is highly desirable but not essential 
  • Track record of growing and mentoring successful sales teams 
  • Customer focused approach and able to identify and respond to customer needs efficiently 
  • Able to sell products that are live, in beta, and some yet to be built 
  • Experience of managing long and complex sales cycles
