Head of Operations

Head of Operations opportunity working for a rapidly expanding FinTech scale-up. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in London. 

Our client's product offering is an innovative accounting platform helping customers calculate their taxes quickly and efficiently. They are a consumer-focused company that has already captured a global audience and continues to scale rapidly. They’re now looking for a Head of Operations to lead the operations team during a high growth period and ensure maximum efficiency is maintained. 

This role would be well suited to someone who has experience leading the operations function for a fast-growing, international tech business previously. 

About the role:

• Hire, lead, and mentor a world-class operations teams 
• Oversee the People, Recruitment, Finance and Investor relations functions 
• Assist in designing the organisational structure and measures of success for all departments 
• Ensure the business can migrate to a hybrid working culture while maintaining standards 
• Grow the company culture based on feedback and continuous development  
• Ensure the finance function operates smoothly 
• Support and collaborate with Regional GMs to maximise potential and outcomes 
• Manage communications with investor offices and act as a point of contact for negotiations  

About you: 

• Several years of experience in a senior operations position for a high-growth tech company at Series A or later 
• FinTech or SaaS experience highly desirable 
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills 
• Able to inspire and motivate teams to get the most out of them 
• Strong buy-in of the company mission and a desire to develop a strong understanding of the relevant market 
• Not afraid to be hands-on
