Creative Director

Creative Director opportunity with a rapidly growing, early-stage SaaS business in the FinTech space. This is a hybrid role with 3 of the days required to be spent in their central London office.

Our client's product offering is an innovative accounting platform helping customers calculate their taxes quickly and efficiently. They are a consumer-focused company that has already captured a global audience and continues to scale rapidly. They are now looking for a Creative Director to lead projects and drive strategy and execution when it comes to brand and marketing for all channels. You will work closely with the existing creative team as well as the marketing department. 

The right person for this role will understand acutely the ability to grab an audience’s attention on a large scale and isn’t afraid to take risks in attempting to connect with users in unconventional ways. You will have been involved in eye-catching, world-class concepts for B2C SaaS and tech businesses with impressive growth results and have created brands from scratch. Our client is interested in speaking to people who have been involved in memorable customer-facing campaigns rather than those focused on corporate guides.

This role will best suit someone with a background in design, concept development, possibly having moved from agency to client-side in the past, and is experienced in building, managing and overseeing design execution to ensure consistency across products and messaging.

About the role:
  • Responsible for the creative input in high-impact campaigns, branding and design for a variety of channels from digital to non-traditional ones
  • Own creative strategy with a strong commercial understanding of business objectives when it comes to marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the development of on-brand creative aspects that deliver improved ROI effectively
  • Push the envelope creatively when it comes to working with your team to deliver world-class concepts
  • Stay up to date with current trends and approaches and how to speak to your customers’ needs
  • Taking briefs from company stakeholders, understanding and translating their goals into a creative vision that you can communicate to your team and colleagues to ensure successful execution
  • Mentor and coach the team, inspiring them in their professional and creative development
  • Work closely with performance marketing and brand teams to achieve the common goal
About you:
  • Several years involvement in developing innovative and creative marketing strategies and building brands from scratch
  • Experienced in creative areas including graphic design, typography, copywriting, and video production is highly desirable
  • Have led a team previously, coaching and guiding creatives to help them reach their full potential and work together as an effective team
  • Strong creative conceptualization skills and demonstrable skills in exercising quality control
  • Passionate about the creative process, you get excited talking about creative ideas and successful campaigns that excite and delight consumers
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen when it comes to ROI and deliverables of campaigns
  • Omnichannel marketing experience
