Client Director


Client Director opportunity with a leading HealthTech business based in London to scale and lead on their client acquisition.

As Client Director you will play a key role in the commercial leadership team and contribute both strategically and operationally to the company’s ambitious growth plans. The business is on a mission to improve the lives of both healthcare professionals and patients and therefore this role requires someone already entrenched in the healthcare technology space with strong networks and who can act as an expert in their field. You’ll be joining a busy and agile team,and need to be able to contribute quickly and effectively.

This role will best suit a commercial leader who has a strong understanding of and empathy for professionals in the healthcare sector, as well as end-users. Someone with proven ability to convince key stakeholders that change is needed when it comes to archaic practices around data storage and sharing in order to realise revolutionary efficiencies and savings.

About the role:

  • Take ownership of key commercial functions (client retention, growth & customer satisfaction)
  • Grow and lead a team over time
  • Develop client revenue forecasts and reports
  • Report to senior management and stakeholders on progress
  • Be knowledgeable on our client’s full product and service portfolio when presenting to customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers’ needs and provide the best solution whilst also feeding findings back into the product roadmap
  • Act as the main point of contact for your customers, building productive relationships with key execs
  • Always ensure customer satisfaction from timely delivery to resolving any issues
  • Negotiate with customers and provide full end-to-end management of the process through to delivery and beyond
  • Put in place structures and processes to help build a scalable client development team that you will develop and lead
  • Strategically lead on a territory expansion plan, incl., but not limited to:
  • - budget planning,
  • - goal setting for client growth,
  • - account management activities,
  • - set and achieve targets,
  • - prepare and present weekly performance reports,
  • - devise sales and marketing plan and use KPIs to measure performance.

About you:

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or similar
  • You possess significant experience in the HealthTech space with established networks
  • A high performer who has sold complex software solutions previously
  • Proven experience of developing, retaining and growing client accounts
  • Commercially astute with demonstrable experience of building long-term client relationships
  • Previously held a senior position in account management or similar
  • Have managed budgets and reporting functions
  • Structure KPIs and other performance evaluation techniques
  • Have worked with Salesforce or similar CRMs and MS Office
  • Enthusiastic, driven individual
  • Strong listening skills and ability to understand complex issues
