VP of Sales

VP of Sales opportunity for an exciting SaaS start-up serving the life sciences and MedTech space with regulatory compliance.

Our client has developed a state-of-the-art AI solution that helps companies in the medical industry optimize and speed up their compliance processes. They are looking for a forward-thinking VP of Sales to launch and grow their sales strategy and define their market position. The sales team is currently at 5 heads and looking to move into hyper-growth next year, growing the headcount x5.

Our client is looking for an experienced sales leader in the tech space who answers yes to these questions:

  • Do you know how to convince decision-makers to buy and adopt a tech solution within their existing processes and workflows?
  • Are you skilled in influencing decision-makers within the MedTech space?
  • Are you practiced in negotiating global deals with multiple departments?
This role would be well suited to someone who has previously launched a SaaS product and at the same time, scaled and managed a team whilst contributing to the sales strategy as part of the senior management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with senior management on planning and translating strategic plans and directives into clear tactical and operational plans
  • Optimize the current sales process to improve customer closing and retention
  • Manage and scale the existing sales team including hiring new members
  • Establish and continually improve key performance metrics to measure and improve team performance
  • Identify appropriate partners in the market and developer partnerships strategies (VAR agreements)
  • In charge of the budget process, including team expenditures and remaining within budget guidelines
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven commercial experience of selling a SaaS product, preferably in the Healthcare/Life Sciences sector
  • Must have worked for a high-growth early-stage company previously
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling a B2B SaaS team in a high-growth environment
  • Strong business planning and forecasting skills
  • Knowledge of MedTech regulatory affairs is highly desirable but not essential
  • Strong analytic, organisational, and problem-solving skills
On offer:

€90k - €115k + commission up to €25k
Fully remote working for anyone based in the UK, Spain, Portugal, or Germany
