Global Head of Sales opportunity to help scale an international EdTech business. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week spent in the Reading office.

As Head of Global Sales, you will work closely with the CEO in a player/coach role with oversight of US operations and head up the UK & EU team. This will involve managing a team of three whilst performing a 360 sales role.

About the role:
- Ensure the adoption of a solution-selling approach to sales
- Manage a small UK-based team and support the US sales lead
- Hold responsibility for the annual sales target across the US and EU teams (comprised of 4 individuals)
- Provide strategic and operational leadership and guidance to the sales team to help achieve targets and grow accounts
- Identify and maximise cross-selling opportunities
- Build relationships with C-Suite clients including Chief Product Officers and senior HR leaders
- Generate leads from in-person events as well as the usual channels
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure a joined-up approach to lead generation
- Be a brand ambassador and attend in-person events (conferences, exhibitions, etc.) to network and generate further sales leads
- Several years experience in solution selling, preferably within SaaS
- Experience within a startup or fast-paced scale-up environment is essential
- Demonstrable track record of consistently hitting sales targets and closing deals of £70k and above
- Used to closing deals with 6-month sales cycles
- Management or mentoring experience of small teams
- Experience selling to C-Suite stakeholders in multi-national organizations
- Able to travel when needed on a local and global basis
- Total OTE of £110k - £150k depending on basic salary
