Commercial Director opportunity for someone with proven SaaS sales experience to help our client achieve their Go-To-Market strategy. This is a fully hybrid role based in the UK requiring travel to Bristol once or twice a week.
Our client has developed unique software to help bring automation to the engineering space, helping to reduce what has traditionally been a heavily paper-based area of work in major national infrastructure projects. They have created a SaaS tool that they’ve already had other businesses express an interest in using but they need a route to market.
As Commercial Director, your role will include, but not limited to, the below:
- Put sales structures and processes in place
- Help determine price point
- Develop their Go-To-Market strategy
- Put a sales team structure in place
- Recruit and manage sales team hires
- Devise KPI’s and commission structures
- Attend monthly meetings with the Board in Brtistol
Requirements:
- Commercial experience in a SaaS business is essential
- Previous experience in the engineering and/or construction space is highly desirable to ensure credible conversations can be had with arget customers from the start
- Successful track record in enterprise sales
- Know what is involved in scaling a startup and have been on that journey before
- Demonstrable experience of successfully taking a piece of software market previously
- Have worked in a VC or PE backed startup
- Strategically minded, you can advise the board on commercial matters
- Full driving licence for travel to client sites for presentations
