UX Product Designer opportunity with a professional services consultancy in London. This is mostly a remote role with one day per week in the London office.

Our client is looking for an experienced Product Designer to own the end-to-end design process; being responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences. 

This role is two-fold; firstly, iterating prototypes and logical design flows with customers to meet their expectations, and secondly, specifying detailed design and user experience with the engineering team. You will be taking customers on a transformation of change moving from on-prem hardware kit workflows into the Cloud.

This opportunity will best suit someone with experience in being integrated into the product discovery process. A lot of customers won’t know exactly what they want so you will be involved in workshopping ideas with them.

The ideal candidate is someone sector agnostic and flexible, with experience in designing in a modular way where their designs can evolve and expand and be open to reusability and scalability. 

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points
• Develop user personas, user journeys, and scenarios to guide design processes
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs and rapid prototyping to confirm requirements with customers and fully specify the delivery of cloud solutions
• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on designs
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and engineering team to iterate on designs based on feedback and testing
• Analyse testing results and make necessary design adjustments
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation
• Workshop design concepts and solutions with customers and gather feedback

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Several years of experience in UX design, preferably in cloud solutions
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, wireframing, rapid prototyping, visual design, and integration with development teams
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
• Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
