Freelance Search Consultant

Wilson Grey is a senior appointments recruitment agency working with early-stage tech startups and high-growth businesses across SaaS, FinTech, and Digital Health.

We run retained searches for senior hires - VP, C-suite, and leadership roles across GTM, Product, Engineering, and Operations.

We’re building a small bench of experienced freelance search consultants who can step in quickly and deliver high-quality mapping, sourcing, and outreach.

Scope of work:

• Build market maps and target company lists for senior roles
• Produce structured longlists with clean relevance notes
• Run candidate outreach and follow-ups
• Keep CRM records accurate and current
• Provide a short weekly pipeline report
• First-stage screening calls using our scorecards

What this is not:

• Not a 360 consultant role
• Not a trainee position
• No business development required
• No client ownership required

About you:

• Agency resourcing background is essential
• Comfortable sourcing senior GTM, Product, and Engineering talent
• Fast researcher with good judgement on relevance and seniority
• Writes clearly and keeps systems tidy
• Can work independently with minimal supervision

This is a B2B freelance contract opportunity with a small monthly minimum commitment to stay warm and a requirement for additional surge days when searches spike - day rate agreed based on experience and scope.
