Senior Enterprise Account Executive opportunity with an early-stage AI company transforming regulatory and compliance workflows across financial services. This is a London-based role, with five days a week in the central office.

Following strong early customer traction, the company has built a substantial multimillion-pound active pipeline, including financial institutions that have already progressed through initial meetings or product demonstrations. It is now looking for an experienced enterprise seller to convert those opportunities, win new customers and help build a repeatable commercial playbook.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role working directly with the founders. You will sell into banks, insurers, FinTechs and other regulated financial institutions, navigating compliance, risk, operations, legal, security and procurement stakeholders.

There is potential to build a team as the company grows, but the immediate priority is progressing opportunities and closing business.

This opportunity would suit someone who combines enterprise financial-services experience with the drive to close complex deals and help shape a commercial function at an early-stage startup.

The role

You will:

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close
  • Take ownership of already-engaged opportunities within a pipeline worth close to £10m, multi-threading accounts and progressing them through budget cycles, procurement and close
  • Develop new relationships across the UK financial-services market
  • Sell consultatively to compliance, risk, operations and senior executive stakeholders
  • Multi-thread opportunities across business users, budget holders, legal, security and procurement
  • Manage a combination of mid-market opportunities and longer enterprise sales cycles
  • Land initial use cases and identify opportunities to expand across additional workflows, teams and jurisdictions
  • Work with the founders to introduce greater structure, discipline and repeatability to the commercial process
  • Contribute directly to positioning, messaging and the wider GTM playbook
  • Initial contracts range from approximately £30,000 for focused deployments to £100,000–£300,000 for larger enterprise engagements, with a land-and-expand model creating the potential for substantially greater account value

What we’re looking for

You should have:

  • A strong record of personally winning complex B2B technology deals with banks, insurers, FinTechs or other financial institutions
  • Experience managing sales involving several stakeholders and formal procurement processes
  • Evidence of closing £30k+ ACV deals, including complex six-figure enterprise opportunities
  • The ability to communicate credibly with compliance, risk, operations and executive buyers
  • Experience generating your own opportunities as well as converting existing pipeline
  • Strong organisation and the discipline to keep long-cycle opportunities moving
  • Experience in a startup, scale-up or similarly fast-moving commercial environment
  • The resilience and ownership required to work closely with ambitious founders
  • The willingness to work from the Central London office five days per week
  • Direct experience of compliance, RegTech, regulatory reporting, AML, KYC or financial-crime technology would be valuable but is not essential.
  • A proven record of selling technology into financial institutions is more important than direct RegTech experience

Why consider it?

  • Join at the point where founder-led selling is becoming a repeatable commercial function
  • Inherit already-engaged opportunities rather than having to build entirely from zero
  • Sell an AI product addressing expensive, manual and business-critical workflows
  • Work directly with experienced founders and influence how the company goes to market
  • Earn uncapped commission with an equity stake in the business
  • Potential to progress into sales leadership as the commercial function grows

On offer

  • £100,000–£130,000 base
  • Uncapped commission
  • Equity
  • Modern offices
